A wardrobe edit – the autumn edition…
Since it’s officially October now I thought it was about high time that I put a few hours aside to pack away all of my spring/summer clothes and get out all of my autumn/winter clothes. We don’t have a lot of clothes storage in our bedroom so I tend to do a seasonal switch over rather than keep everything out. I think this helps to see what I actually have to wear that’s appropriate for the seasons too. So one grey morning in October I decided I would use the day to have a good old fashioned sort out. I got literally EVERYTHING out of all of my wardrobes, drawers…

Friday Pattern Company Sagebrush Top and Fibre Mood Norma Blouse Mash Up
The idea… The Sagebrush Top by Friday Pattern Company has been on my ‘to make’ list for a little while now but with autumn and the colder months coming up I wondered how much wear I’d get out of it if I made it with the short, possibly cardigan unfriendly sleeve. Two – Conker collecting… Every year since my children were little we’ve gone down to the river that runs through our town in September to collect conkers and I’m…

An Ogden Cami Hack and a Fabric Review
I loved the look of this beautiful John Kaldor Floral Print Slinky Satin Dress Fabric as soon as I saw it, mainly because I loved the yellow and black print, but when it arrived, I have to admit, it was a little more silky and sheer than I had imagined so for a little while it sat in my stash until inspiration for the right project arrived. If you’re on Instagram, I’m sure it didn’t escape your notice that August was Ogden Cami month and as more beautiful versions of this pattern appeared in my feed along with some lovely dress hacks it suddenly hit me that maybe this beautifully…
